We understand there are many items to consider when finding the perfect style team for your wedding day.

Below you will find a few common questions we receive from our brides and our helpful advice for each.

  • What are your rates?

    Our rates are competitive with other professional makeup and hair stylists based in the Tacoma/Seattle/Bellevue area. These prices are based on our level of expertise in the field, elite customer service, and high-end products.

    We also prefer to provide personalized quotes because we offer many specific, tailored services, and because travel costs will differ. For a customized estimate please request a quote.

  • Do you have a minimum service requirement?

    For Wedding services, we have a minimum requirement for booking onsite artists. This includes the bride in addition to 2-4 other services.

    For example; Makeup is 1 service. Services such as lashes, airbrush, and hair extension placement are add-on services and do not qualify towards service count.

  • Is a trial included in the price?

    Typically, the Artist will contact you 6-8 weeks prior to coordinate, however, you may schedule sooner if you'd like. Trials are performed at a location of your choice on Mondays through Thursdays to accommodate Artists’ weekend wedding schedules. An additional fee may be required if a weekend is requested, orpreview requested is not in-studio ALX BEAUTY LOUNGE location.

  • Is gratuity included?

    Yes. 20% gratuity will be applied to all services and detailed on the Final Invoice.

    Any additional gratuity is not expected but certainly welcome.

  • How do I pay?

    For nearly all hair/makeup clients, we accept a check or credit card payment (which can be taken right in our “Dubsado” booking portal). For wedding clients, we require a final payment to be made 7- 14 days (depending on the artist level) before the wedding date. Any services added on the day of the event (time permitting at the artist's discretion) can be paid directly through your bridal portal using the card on file.

  • Concierge Barber/Grooming Services

  • Can you accommodate large Groomsmen parties?

    Yes! Depending on the Day and Time of Wedding, generally, it takes about 45min to an hour to give the phenomenal groomsmen experiences.

  • Do you use Shears, Clippers, Razors to provide your service?

    Yes! Our barbers have all the tools required to accommodate your grooming experience.

  • Do I need to collect images of my haircut and style?

    Yes! Google images or previous personal photos will work. You can upload these photos using the inquiry form below

  • Are you Fully licensed and Insured?

    Yes! This is a non-negotiable when it comes to professionalism.

  • How far do you travel?

    As far as you are requesting us to go! We have home-bases in Seattle/Portland, but our travel fee is based on location and distance.

  • Do you require a deposit?

    Yes! Deposit is to be paid once the date and time are confirmed and contract is signed.

  • How soon in advance can I book my Concierge Grooming Experience?

    As Soon as Possible! Available dates fill fast.
